K.O.G (Kweku Of Ghana) is back with his second solo album produced by Guts recorded between Ghana & Sheffield (UK).
“‘Odo Sronko means ‘different love’. What people call love is not love. I have a whole different love for you, it talks about a very expressive love, very kind. It’s one of the love songs on the album, about partnership. Different, special love in a relationship setting.” Kweku
After the first single “Live For Today”, K.O.G returns to the roots of the Ghanaian sound, inviting one of the pillars of the highlife scene: the legendary Pat Thomas on vocals.
Nestled in magnificent female choirs, nonchalant percussion and sweet horn lines, the song takes on the colors of a live performance as soon as the echo of Pat Thomas’ grain of voice resonates. The delicate formation manages to transport us to the middle of a hot evening in a club in Accra.
Your love song for this summer!
