After the commercial and critical success of the album ‘Hymne au soleil’, Laurent Bardainne and Tigre d’Eau Douce defy the laws of attraction, aiming beyond the sun with Eden as their target in their third album ‘EDEN BEACH CLUB.’ A return to their successful uninhibited formula, blending lingering groove, luxurious soul, flamboyant jazz, and electronic spirals. Geographically or musically, no map can locate this place of eclecticism anymore, with each track leading to an invitation to dance and celebrate a moment. That of an eternal sunset, striped with electricity by Laurent Bardainne and Tigre d’Eau Douce.”

Eden new single out! Following the success of his album “Hymne au soleil” and the hit single “Oiseau”, saxophonist Laurent Bardainne is back with the first single from his new album “Eden Beach Club”. This new album is the imaginary soundtrack to a day at the beach, at the Eden Beach Club, where everything is calm, relaxed and voluptuous. On ‘Eden’, Bardainne’s sax is floating over a groovy rhythm, accompanied by a hypnotic marimba and a few notes of synth, adding a touch of electronica to the track. It’s as if the French band Air were jamming with Sly & Robbie in the legendary Compass Point studio in Nassau, Bahamas. A track to be listened to lying down, feet in the sand, a chilled cocktail in hand, eyes half closed.
Brazilian jazz funk, now with an added French touch. So now into 2024, and we have Cotonete full length number two. They’ve enlisted the producer Guts to guide them towards sunshine, groove, warmth and all the colours in his rainbow. With their tongues firmly in their cheeks, the album is titled ‘Victoire de la Musique’ – a dig at the annual French music award ceremony.
